Beyond the test tubes and Petri dishes, beyond embedded electrodes
and PETscans, beyond cages in a clinic and chemicals in a cortex,
what are these three brains that host the human mind?
The described model of the human brain was originated by Paul MacLean
(The Triune Brain in Evolution). It would be just another interesting
model of the brain if it weren't for one startling fact.
Humans have been unconsciously projecting triune brain structuring
and functionality in much of what they have created in the past 5000
years. In fact, civilization can be more accurately described as a
"freudian slip."
Since the dawn of recorded history, many social structures have been
three-sectioned; city layouts, tombs and temples, social castes, languages,
governments, religions, economics, arts, science - on and on. And
the same is not uncommon in modern times. From the traffic light to
three-tiered religions to the three branches of US government to rub-a-dub-dub
three men in a tub, civilization is a three-ringed circus. And it
is all being done without the human conscious being aware of it.
Even our head experts, the "fathers of psychology," Freud
and Jung, were unconscious puppets of this triune projection. Both
envisioned models of the mind that were - yes - three layered. Freud
thought of the mind as having three conflicting internal tendencies:
the id is the unconscious, the ego is the conscious self, and the
superego is an internalized self-critic. For Jung, the mind also has
three main parts: the conscious mind, the personal unconscious, and
the collective unconscious.
Understand clearly what I am saying. It is
not a coincidence that you worship a holy trinity, pay taxes
to a three-tiered government, believe the universe is composed of
three basic particles that transition through three stages of matter
occupying three dimensions. Nor is it accidental that you consider
yourself upper-middle-lower class, try to eat three meals a day, answer
to a first-middle-last name, and read your child The Three Little
Pigs.
These trinities are unconscious messages from inside the human head.
Something inside us is desperately trying to get a message out to
us. It is making us fashion 3-tiered mirrors in everything we create.
The message relates to who we REALLY are, and our blind march toward
extinction. The message is directed to the baby brain, the neocortex,
to its stargazing mentation state which is called consciousness.
You are adrift on an unconscious flood of triplets. You are going
under for the third and final time. You are not waving. You are drowning.

You simply could not be supplied with more resources available to
understand these three brains and their processes and the problem
facing us. The coded clues are everywhere around you. And most importantly,
you have direct and individual access to these systems inside you.
All you have to do is wake up.
At the same time, you would do well to realize that nothing civilization
has produced can be taken at face value. It is all a code from the
unconscious. And what is the "unconscious?"
Any mentation not controlled by the infant neocortex. The "unconscious"
is the emotional brain and the reptilian brain.
