all races, all nationalities, all ages, all professions -


And especially - you - I have a
little project that begs your participation.


Suppose --- it is raining?


Suppose --- I am constructing a vessel of every possible type
of human creativity?


Suppose --- there is room for everyone?

Ziusudra - Introduction


What is it about?


Well, it's a flood story. You know those hundreds of ancient
flood myths from all parts of the globe? They are wonderfully
diverse and rich, but they have some interesting commonalities
that can't be explained by common source. For example,
the number Three. Many of them use that numerical symbol,
and dozens of myths say that there have been three great
floods, with a fourth to come.


Ziusudra is a story about the coming 4th Great Flood.


And Z is building an ark, a 21st century ark. Z has been given a blueprint. It is an ark of creativity and concept and lovingness. It will be an Ark unlike any other. Not only different in terms of structure - but different in terms of what's inside the Ark!


Nope, not animals two by two.


All the artforms will fit into the ark. They will all share the same space, the same time. They will all support one another. They will interact and evolve together in an ongoing process as they ride out the storm. Each of the artforms will be woven simultaneously into the flow of a parable. They will all be part of an epic myth, a story that I have to tell, which covers the history of life/love on our planet.


The ark is three-tiered. One tier is a processional of live events. One tier is a processional of cyberevents. One tier is a processional of films/books. All three tiers are interlaced and unified. The results will be the survival of the creative/loving part of us.


I am gathering every possible work of creativity on the planet. Creative work includes visual art of all kinds, music art of all kinds, language art of all kinds, performing arts of all kinds, and post-20th century art of all kinds (whatever that is).

In other words, every species, sub-species, hybrid and aberration of creativity on the planet.

 

And that's where you come in?
