So - What does
all this mean in terms of participation?
Well, I see three levels of partcipation.
First, you can participate - by not participating ( take a raincheck?
). If you decide not to collaborate for some reason, please send me
a short explanation of why you dont want to come aboard.
These responses will be saved and incorporated into Ziusudra.
Even if you don't respond at all, your name will be preserved
in a "memorial wall" of art in the ark.
Second, you can participate in a modular way. You have
a free hand to do whatever you want on a Great Flood theme. You can
work off any of the many Great Flood myths, or you can wing
it on your own. That includes ANTI-Great Flood work also. Whatever floats
your boat.
This level also includes participation by those removed from the traditional
arena of the arts. Everybody from A-nthropologists to Z-oologists.
Ill do my best to make a space for all. Understand, however,
the modular work is a backdrop to the integral
work.
Third, you can participate in an integral way. In that
case, we have some exciting brainstorming sessions ahead, along with
very enriching partnerships with other types of creative people, including
A to Z from those fields that seem non-arts related.
Integral work will be involved
in the storylines of Ziusudra in a fashion that is much easier to explain
in relation to whichever tier of the ark we are developing.
For example, in the live events,
writers will be involved in dramatic scene work. Visual artists, including
video artists, will be involved in creating specific dramatic environments.
Performance artists will do their thing.
These artists would be imvolved
somewhat differently in the other tiers of the ark; cyberspace and film/book.
