Saturday Feb 21 - first 333pm miniZ - Galileo -

exciting talk with Alma Hepp of Carousels Studio about a myriad of uses for fabric - everything from environment shaping and different theater effects with lighting and video projection - plans made with Johnnie Mathews about theater involvement, i am to email her about character study - Lydia showed her latest series of artwork - GOOSEBUMPS - synchronizes perfectly with a flood of mindsets - we talked about large scale use of her art in a way that people could move through sculptured spaces of her work - be sure to take a look at some of her journal drawings i just posted here - imagine moving through tunnels & caves with these on the walls, ceiling and floor - email me with your thoughts.

Sat Feb 29 - 2nd 333pm miniZ - Galileo

HMMM - our second 333 gathering, & we tripled our attendance. I'm sure enjoying the interchanges & exchanges & crosschanges of mediums. Nice to feel some creative electricity occurring for a change.
Duff Bassett joined the project, brought a jawdropping video he shared - fits in beautifully with Ziusudra's storyline. Duff ask me how ice covered balloons fit in with mindsets. I said we have those three brains in our cranial cavity, structured like a balloon within a balloon within a balloon - and we can witness loose balloons all over the streets downtown. I didn't mention how the ice fits in. I'll leave that to your neocortex.
Carl Koss, with a poem in process that she would like to mix with video, and Duff were exploring some ideas on collaborating.
Ralph Petroski brought his emerging artpiece and we talked about videotaping the piece emerging out of a pool of wax. Winnie Hawkins is working on a collage about the mindset called MARCH MADNESS (Winnie is a Jayhawk). David Irwin is researching Sumerian figures with an eye for mixing ancient and modern mythic images. Lorrie Keller set me up with a convergence with a psychologist who is also exploring the triune brain. Marissa Lane, besides adding a new poem (just posted), has poured time and loving energy into helping me with Ziusudra grant applications. And you should take some time to walk through Michael Higgins' idea for a concept piece, now online.
I'll be at Galileo again this next Saturday, March 6, with an open table for art & ideas. This will be the 3rd 333 miniZ. Hope you can flow through.
