Three mythic trees - true, over five thousand years separate them, yet all three ( and many mythic more ) give us the best clue as to where we find this ultimate-tree which will carry us through the coming storm. India, Iraq & the U.S. - distant lands and cultures - it is this ultimate-tree that connects them, because the same symbol is at the center of each of these mythic trees. And that symbol is a blueprint of the human mind.
This is a series in process - sort of a notebook online. It will change and grow - cover both art and science. I certainly welcome any insights you might want to share.
The tree & monkeybars above are in an empty lot by my place. My landlord painted them. It is a synchronistic gift from the universe that they appear here at this very time for me to explore. I find the tree is not a tree. The red-striped fork at the top is the neocortex with its left and right hemisphere. The blue trunk with stars is the reptilian brain. The monkey bar is the isolated and repressed emotional mammalian brain. It's also an evolutionary inferrence. And even though the figures in this picture ( and all my others ) may look like a male and female to you, they are not. They are personifications of parts of the human brains that are at war & love with each other.
As for the trees at the top of the page and at the earliest stage of recorded history. They will blow your mind.
